As our parents look after all our needs no matter how old we are, it is our core responsibility to nurture them when they become old and helpless. The unconditional love they shower must be equally shown by their children as well. But the question is, Do they? The answer can never be that simple, as with each individual lies different personalities and conscience. Our observation showed us the variations, from responsible and sensible adolescents to heartless and self-centered ones. In between these crowds, the most heartbreaking are the ones who were left behind, old and shattered, how haunting it must have felt to even imagine their aloneness.
As social workers, we’ve always considered them our own parents,we were thinking, and so we took the first step and initiated the projects of Old Age Homes. So far we’ve been able to provide a safe shelter for hundreds of old people who were either abandoned or completely ignored by their own children, in other words, keeping in view the disrespect and burden towards the elderly in society, to save them from living a hellish life and suicide, by setting up old age homes and day-care centers and giving them free admission without any discrimination, benefiting them by providing them a worry-free life.
By God’s grace, it’s been a wonderful journey, and we expect to extend this path infinitely.
Stop Drug Abuse
A common problem seen in today’s generation is the consumption of harmful and illegal drugs, especially by adolescents to make sense of their hardships, depression, and sometimes fun! The feeling of completely detaching oneself from this reality and hallucinating a pleasurable world that surely doesn’t exist seems fascinating to them. But little do they understand that it affects their nervous system to a level that can prove to be life-threatening and the cause of unconscious overdose or even death.
We are the believers of life’s miracle, where lies a circle that begins with life itself and ends in losing that life forever, but in between life and death, isour journey where we experience the most complicated turmoil of human emotions necessary to understand life’s longings and our purpose to live. We should never let go of something so precious as the essence of beholding and living in this incredibly unknown world.To make the citizens aware of the harm caused by the use of drugs specifically for the persons who are addicted to it and substances like alcohol, heroin, smack, charas, opium, ganja, yang, etc. To provide free treatment facilities to the lost persons, build a hospital and compile and give proper consultation.
Rural Development
Evolving and growing urbanization has completely left the rural sections in disguise. Making modern societies more advanced won’t contribute to development entirely rather it will deplete the possibilities if things get worse.
As concerned citizens and responsible social workers, we’ve made our progress to make these remote villages nothing less than an urban sector or at least improve the basic necessities such as a well-maintained drainage system, well-planned water channels, and most importantly good health facilities like suitable doctors and construction of more well-equipped hospitals.
Other than that, we’ve improved the road conditions by transforming most of the kutcha roads into metalled roads for better transportation networks.Keeping our Prime Minister’s initiative, we’ve also constructed public toilets and are aiming to continue it further.
Agricultural Reforms
India is an agriculture-based country where we all directly or indirectly rely on our beloved farmers. Improved technologies and improving the fertility for better growth of different crops by keeping in mind the scientific demands ideal for cultivation should be a priority. So, we’ve implemented numerous projects in order to offer help for increasing the fertility of the land for improved seeds and agriculture and to maintain a low level for soil improvement and educate
the farmers about the measures and provide free training in mushroom, silkworm rearing, beekeeping, system, and to operate.With these approaches, we’ve been able to benefit a huge section of farmers both for their financial upliftment and opportunities to further export their harvest to foreign countries.
Women’s Empowerment
The most significant rule of survival is self-dependency. In a country like India, where illiteracy and unemployment have shattered uncountable lives leading to poverty and enervation, it is certainly paradoxical to even think about political support. There are millions of school and college dropouts, endeavoring to fulfill their financial necessities and so relinquished their longings in hopelessness.
It is our motto, to extract them from their tenebrosity and pour the credence of hope that beholds a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
Our numerous handicraft training programs like embroidery, stitching, pottery, and other art & craft activities include hand-painted sarees with beautiful designs and concepts. For marketing, we provide our best possible help to form their base and financial elevation.
Hope for the Physically Challenged
We are believers in equality and so we dream of creating equilibrium among different segments of our society, whether it’s about the deprived sections or the specially-abled sections. It breaks our hearts to see these exceptionally special children mentally suffer from societal stereotypes.If nothing else, our organization tries to support these beautiful children with wheelchairs, special games, and activities to boost their learning interests, and so on as a token of love.
The smiles we behold close to the treasures of our hearts, we’ll never let them fade away because they’re the shining stars we love to cherish for an eternity.
Minority Welfare
Our History and present scenarios have proven that minority exploitation is a serious problem in our country. So, safeguarding their existence is our core duty. Whether it’s about educational, societal, or even health facilities, our united mission, and hard work have always been constant. Our government has important laws that most people are unaware of and as an NGO we are trying our best to spread maximum awareness along with possible guidance to help them out.
To ensure their basic rights are safe, we have monthly ration facilities and links with different educational sectors where we scrutinize and help them in pursuing their dreams of leading a better life filled with opportunities to choose from. Our members have also offered them the free distribution of important books, especially for their higher studies. Each individual’s uniqueness and talents should never go in vain for petty reasons like a financial crisis or lack of resources when we can easily help and uplift each other by a kind act of giving.
Health
The most important factor of survival is health and it must be our responsibility to draw special attention to take care of it. But the affordability of maintaining a balanced and nutritious diet is not possible for everyone as India has a record-breaking percentage of poverty-stricken families.
In order to help them, we’ve organized absolutely free health check-up camps where we collaborate with prestigious hospitals and invite expert professional doctors to provide full body examinations.
After each session, the patients are supplied with necessary medicines, and healthy food like fruits, vegetables, milk, etc.So far, we’ve observed that these needy families are in a better health space and we wish to continue more of these health camps in the coming years with your blessings and eternal love.
Skill Development Programs
In today’s generation, it is extremely important that we focus on creating work opportunities for the unemployed sections. Families having no source of income also hampers the life of their infants unintentionally. Somehow we are responsible for it as for so many years they’ve been ignored and kept in darkness.For us, gender equity is an important factor as we find it necessary to make both women and men self-reliant for all the poor sections of the society, by giving them free training in sewing, embroidery,
weaving, zardozi leaf work, candle soap, incense sticks, incense sticks, etc., help them in providing self-employment by setting up small industries.To cooperate in providing self-employment opportunities to youth and women by giving free training in printing, composing books, bidding photography and computer, etc. under higher technical education.Over the years, we’ve sent artisans to popular melas where they sell their products to earn their living. Other than that, their works are sent to different retailers so that they can get a good marketplace to further continue their works.
Education to Child Laborers, Orphans, & Destitute
Haven’t we all witnessed uncountable abandoned or homeless nomads with the worst living conditions, suffering from severe illnesses, and having no food to eat for days? How many of us try to help them get back to normal? Only a few, right? But isn’t it our responsibility to help each other in the time of our needs? Well, the questions are never-ending but the solutions aren’t inaccessible to us.
A bit of giving our possessions won’t harm our existence and to be honest, everything becomes meaningless when we perish leaving it all behind.Tired of seeing small innocent and helpless kids working to feed their families, people losingthe hope to live, and children becoming orphans at a young age, we mutually decided to put a full stop to their misery. To successfully do that, we are constantly providing our help specially to educate them as it is really important to be knowledgeable to maintain a prosperous future. From free book distributions, special tuition classes, and encouraging them to bring more of their friends to join us, we have it all ready to be served.
Disaster Management
The ability to destroy lives in the blink of an eye, is the most dangerous set backs of catastrophes. Every year when flood strikes, thousands of local citizens especially the minor sections lose their loved ones, essentials and their shelter to live. It is truly devastating to even imagine the churning wave of pain they go through. Maybe we can’t just give everything back that they’ve probably lost, but at least we can guide them to move forward, make a way to rescue and provide shelters to live.
Our organization has been managing these challenging situations since a long time.Supplying medicines, clothes and survival food to as many affected families as we can. The injured or critical survivors are also rescued and sent to different hospitals, taking resposibility for their medical attention and expenditures. The smile they hold is very precious to us and we’ll always do every possible thing to protect that forever.
Welfare Schemes of Forest and Environment
Environmental protection is an important issue to look at. With growing population the consumption and disposal of unwanted waste have resulted in pollution harming the ecological balance. Human activities like deforestation has impacted the earth’s atmosphere and soil conditions, thus giving birth to landslides and soil erosion along with depletion of oxygen level.
To benefit the general public we conduct welfare schemes of forest and environment to motivate people to plant trees to control the environment and to provide assistance to the society at the time of calamities like storms, landslide, flood, drought, epidemic etc.We’ve certainly made it mandatory to keep the surrounding as clean as possible and to ensure that we’ve initiated biodegradable and non-biodegradable dustbins in every public places.
